Carpenter ants are large ants indigenous to many forested parts of the world. They build nests inside wood consisting of galleries chewed out with their mandibles, preferably in dead, damp wood.
Black widow spider
This venomous spider is commonly found in dark, quiet places like your garage or storage sheds. It is often seen around wood piles, doorways, under your home’s siding, around your foundation vents in the crawl space and in the thick shrubs around your home. Call soon if you see these.
Hobo or aggressive house spider
Similar to the brown recluse spider, the hobo is a member of the Funnel Spider family. Watch for these guys around doorways, windows and corners of your home, or in the evergreen shrubs around your house.
